Ambitious project goalsNear the city centre of Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, the investor Raiffeisen Property Management Bulgaria Ltd. created the office complex “Expo 2000”. The first phase of the project was already finished in 2005, the fourth and final one in autumn 2017. As great focus was put on energy saving measures, the attractive building named “Phase IV” with a total lettable area of 12,000 m2 employs the latest technologies. Thus, all common areas of the building situated above ground are equipped with LED technology. As partner for safety and escape route lighting, the construction company chose the local provider Alfa Light Ltd. The company’s well-known reliable support, the delivery of high quality luminaires and a competitive project offer were decisive factors for awarding the contract.
SOLUTION
State-of-the-art LED lightingWhen it comes to safety lighting, Alfa Light Ltd. cooperates with the German experts from RP-Technik GmbH. Their products provide excellent quality and convincing technical parameters. The scope of supply comprised almost 330 LED rescue signs of the types KXU, KBU and KMU as well as 140 LED emergency route luminaires of the types ILER, ILEF and ILDF. The modular plastic safety lights are suited for universal usage, easy to mount and equipped with a complete set of pictograms. The IL-type luminaires have a modern design and are available with four different lenses adapting to the required light distribution. Energy supply is ensured by the central battery system (CBS) midiControl plus MD132, which can control up to 32 free programmable circuits and 640 connected luminaires. Delivery is completed by 15 main circuit modules DCM42 and 18 maintenance-free OGiV batteries for covering an emergency case.
